Google AdSense Policies: A help guide to bloggers

In this article, I am writing simply and briefly on Google AdSense polices and this will going to help you in maintaining your site, increasing your income and to save you’re from invalid activities that will results in violence of police and disapproval of Google AdSense account. So, one must read the article before applying for AdSense.

Google AdSense policies

Google AdSense policies are simple and effective one. I think that’s why most of advertisers believe in them and the product for this is Google AdWord. Before applying for Google AdSense, it is important that you should be familiar with the AdSense progamme policies. A thorough knowledge of Google AdSense policies is important for getting approval of account and a long positive association with Google. It is not enough that once you got Google AdSense account approval and earning will starts quikly so keep reading and I will tell you how you can be a successful earner. First of all your blog or website and the content written in it should be as per the Google AdSense polices.

After Google AdSense approval

I know you want to earn and wants huge amount from your blog. It can be possible so stay calm and never violate the Google AdSense polices and as per Google policies I am enlisting few points which you have to strongly consider.

1.      Click and impressions on the ads

To protect the faith of advertiser and keep their interest, Google specialists keep on monitoring every click whether automated systems generated or done by person intensely. As Google pay you for every click, similarly Google deduct amount from advertisers; so invalid clicks can make it one side and may result in artificially inflated costs to the advertisers. This invalid click may disapprove your AdSense account. That means you have to do:

• Never click on displayed ads in your blog or website: If you want the information appearing in ads then simply search it in your any browser even included Google search engine. But be clear that never click on the ads of your blog.

• Never say anyone to click on ads: Be clear that never enforce anybody to click on ads in any way.

• Ad targeting place: The Google ads displaying should not mimic to the surrounding written content or not placed under misleading heading or should not close to the control element; as per Google policy there should be a proper distance as for gaming site it is 150 pixel from the flash player. Place of ads should never be as which results in accidental clicks.

• Publisher and advertiser: Google is very much concerned for their ad clients so if you wants to publish your site then you have to ensure that never use pop-ups or software application to increase the traffic to your site by third party. You have to ensure that online advertising of your site is accordance with the Google's Landing Page Quality Guidelines.  

• Unknown invalid activity: Use Google analytics to keep a close watch on your traffic and the invalid activity done by them. I have seen there are so many software or persons who intensely do such activities for unkown reason and result of their activity is to be paid by innocent bloggers. So to save you from these types of peoples Google Analytics is best one.

2. Content and Google ads

• Content of your site must be of your own creation. Adult content, copyright content violent content or hateful content is strictly prohibited by the Google. And the sites indulge in such type of activity is always disapproved by the Google AdSense. Content in your site should be unique as it is not only preferred by Google but also by the visitors. The content related with the blog title and related posts are always welcomed by everyone. Hidden text and links are also prohibited as per the Google AdSense policies.

• Once your account is approved and Google Ads Code is generated, it should not to be modified unless asuthorised by the Google itself. So never change behavior, layout or delivery of ads. Even don’t use any software to place Google ads in your site.
